VLC freezes when asked to show IPTV playlist

Hi,
I am using vlc 3.08. When I start my stream not in playlist mode, I get connection to my stream. I can use the back and forward buttons to get to the next channel. When I press the playlist icon, vlc freezes only hear audio, but playlist of channels is not seen.

When I start my stream in playlist mode it freezes.

Only change that has happened was that windows 10 did an update. After that, I have had these issues, prior to that everything was fine.

Any reasons or suggestions to fix this. TIA

Hello,

the freezing Streams are probably "http live streams (HLS)" where the VLC-Version 3.0.8 has an Issue.

Try to install VLC-Player Version 3.0.7.1.
