Hi unidan,
hi Lotesdelere,
first of all, thanks for your fast replies, appreciate it !
I just checked the thing with the language via:
Tools -> Settings -> Interface Settings -> Language -> Menu language
For me, it was set to: Auto (which is the default value, i guess)
Now, my windows machine is running on OS language "German", so VLC was also running "German" via "Auto" language setting.
Then, i switched the VLC language setting to "American English" and restarted VLC.. and as Lotesdelere already has assumed absolutely right:
the shortcut "Hide/Show Playlist" is magically back again and i can also use "CTRL" + "L" again.
So, it is definitely language related, that's all i can say for now.
Therefore, as i see it right now, it seems to be a language related bug on the side of VLC (since update 3.0.7.1).
As a temporary workaround, i switched my VLC language settings now to "American English" (for as long as it needs to be).
Nonetheless, i hope this can be fixed for any affected language, so that i can have VLC in "German" back again, with all shortcuts working properly.
That would be great !
