Cover art is not treated as a video.

Yes of course, I should have rephrased my comment:

Would the function of enabling full screen cover art when playing a file be something that is too technically challenging to integrate in a future update?

As such, it would not be hard. But it would break the existing logic where the playlist is normally shown (rather than the cover art) when there is no video.

Oh I see, I've never shown the playlist so I would have thought others like myself would like to throw a playlist on then just leaving the cover art on display.

Would be nice in instances where you're having a party or something and if you wanted to show the cover art on the screen. Or retail displays, etc.
