Win7-64 is my newest system. The first version of VLC was 3.0.3 64bit. I just upgraded it to 3.0.6, hoping to fix the video playback issues.
The majority of videos that I play are MKV wrapped H.264 files. When I play those back, full screen, they are jerky, unlike the smooth playback on my XP-32bit box. Not only is the video playback jerky, horizontal motion results in chopped (sliced horizontally) video, as if the playback is not in sync with vertical refresh. The Win7 box has a higher-power AMD CPU than the XP AMD CPU.
How do I fix this?
