Hi, what do you mean?

+ The result is a grey picture?

+ You want to render in greyscale on the TV?

What do you mean by "renderer to the TV"?

I mean that the possibility to klik on the button is zero because the button is grey and does not react on command to scan to find tv !

Which button are you talking about? And what kind of TV are you trying to render to? Is it a chromecast enabled TV?

I think what the OP means, because I'm having the same problem, is that VLC is not connecting to the Smart TV. I have a Sharp Smart TV, though, and am running Vista (Yes, I know it's outdated, upgrades cost money, unfortunately)

If your smart TV doesn't support chromecast, then that's expected. For now, chromecast is the only type of renderer we support. 4.0 version will have UPnP support, which might work with a lot more devices (you can try a nightly build with that feature here: https://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/last/, but keep in mind that it might not be stable at all)
