Turn off command display in play window

Postby Roman2250 » 15 Oct 2018 21:25

<t>I couldn't see a query relating to this, but if I missed it, please direct me to the correct answer.<br/>
<br/>
I'm running VLC 3.0.4 on an Asus Vivobook connected to an exterior monitor. I have the video window fullscreen on the second monitor, with a playlist on the primary display. If I hit the hotkeys for "n"ext or "p"revious video, or pause/play, that command shows up on the top right side of my fullscreen display. I have turned off video name, and changed the bar timeout to 1 millisecond, but it has no effect on the command display.<br/>
<br/>
Is there a way to turn this feature off that I'm missing? Or at least change the colour of the font to black rather than white, so that it is less noticeable?<br/>
<br/>
Thank you kindly for any assistance.</t>

You can try to disable the OSD. You won't see when you play/pause or the volume change.
