mp4 H.265
Goodmorning everyone, I would like to watch and somehow editing mp4 H.265 videos on VLC. If I try to open one of them, it always crashes at the beginning. Should I add some plugin? I use 3.0.4 version. Excuse me for my ignorance. Thank you!

Try to deactivate the hardware decoding:
Tools -> Preferences -> Input/Codecs -> Hardware-accelerated decoding -> set to Disable.
If the issue persists, can you try to share one of the media files ?

Thank u garf but it doesn't work; with that tip, not only it can't open the file but the sw crashed with a C++ message error. How could I share one of the videos? Thank u.Hello,
