video controls
As in windows media player it has controls for color, contrast, hue, saturation. Does this player also have these controls?

Open VLC, press Ctrl+G to get the "Extended GUI" (Settings - Extended GUI).
After enabling "Adjust Image" you are able to change Hue, Contrast, Brightness, Saturation and Gamma.
