VLC Video Playback Issue

Postby Mitsauce » 30 Apr 2018 07:51

Hi,

I'm trying to play a mp4 file that has h264 codec in it. It works fine on my personal laptop, but when I try to play it on my other work laptop, the video file plays the first second of the mp4, then the video does not move forwards or backwards.

I tried the h264 demuxer on the work laptop, but it doesn't seem to work. I hit save after I select the h264 demuxer, close vlc, open vlc and the file, and the bottom half of the video then becomes green.

Thanks in advance.

Try another video output module:

And/or disable/enable GPU acceleration:

You can also try to enable or disable some video options such as Overlay and/or Hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.
