As webmantz mentioned he is speaking about scrolling on time progress bar to move forward or backward. (And not to raise up or down volume)Raising the volume over 100% is slow because Windows does not allow it, and VLC resorts to an inefficient hack.
That's not the same here. Up to VLC 2.2.8 was scrolled evenly fast, from 3.0 is scrolled evenly and slowly. However, this can be dependent on the mouse or mouse driver used.I feel like when scrolling in VLC 2.2.8 there was a scroll multiplier. ...

Thomas
Hello,
I saw that https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/19790 has been closed and in version 3.0.3 the speed ist much faster than in the previous version. This is fine so far.
However, are there any plans to add a setting which allows a user to specificy the speed when he uses the mouse wheel in order to move forward/ backward? One user likes to move forward faster than another, so this should be configurable.
Thanks,
BStnr
