Video rotation not possible anymore

Postby baboonheart » 10 Apr 2018 18:33

I usually was able to rotate videos via video-effects, geometry, transform (not sure if these are the exact words as I use the german version). It used to work fine.

Now it's not working anymore. I did reset all the preferences (in VLC settings, with the shortcut in the startmenu and even by manually deleting the folder in %appdata%.

However it still does not work - any advice?

Thanks

I'm having the same problem.. also with the zoom function too.

This version for me has the most bugs. I hope they update it soon.

That fixed my problems. I downloaded the 64bit version though. But all is good :) Thanks for the advice.

I'm finding I have a slightly different problem than VLC not completely working on a rotation. My video when saved is NOT in the upright position that I have it set to be. In that, I set it for a 90 degree rotation, but it only rotates it between 45-60 in total which gives me a fully crooked rendering of the video. I would attach a photo if I knew how.

Anyone else have this problem?
