VLC 3.0 & Chromecast

I use first generation of Chromecast.
Build from 24.06.2017(0458) doesn't from chromecast.
Chromecast is working. I test with Chrome.
When VLC find Chromecast doesn't play video.

Build from today working fine but why see Chromecast like Chromecast-IDkey.Can't see name I give in options of Chromecast.Why ?!

when I change render to chromecast. Nothing to play on chromecast.
v.20170730-0457 is working. I'm watching stream from torrent-tv.ru with noxbit , but only 6-7 min and stop problem maybe in noxbit & torrent-tv.

You need to select the chromecast, and start the playback afterward (this will be fixed for the release)

What it means when after I opened a file .mkv or .avi I saw below the tv a bar blue running but after about 1 min. I saw a label blu in the center of the tv and obvoiusly I can see the video in the tv. I use vlc-3.0.0-20170809-0456-git-win64 with win 10

buids after 09.08.2017 have a problem with decoding video and vlc crash when I use match futbol channels from torrent-tv(noxbit).
build from 23.08.2017 still crashing !

Problem codec is H264-MPEG-4 AVC(part10)(h264) & audio MPEG AAC Audio(ADTS).Please fixed.

Hi everyone:
I have VLC 3.0.0 Build 12 Nov 2017 running on two Windows 10 (64bit) 1703 Creators Edition systems. When I run VLC and select Scan from the Video > Renderer, one computer sees all my Chromecasts and Chromecast groups almost immediately but the other one never sees any of them.

Both computers are running on the same WiFi network. I am assuming it is some setting on the computer which does not show the Chromecasts (which it did with an earlier build).

My aim is to use VLC to play my local music collection to different parts of the house. I can do it from the computer on which it is working but it would be nice to understand why I can use the "home-built" system but not my Lenovo Carbon laptop. (BTW Intel Core i5 on each system)

Any ideas?

installed vlc-3.0.0-20171127-0254-git-win32 & vlc-3.0.0-20171128-0500-git-win64 on Win7 PC & the win32 version on an XP.
Have an Audio ChromeCast (the one without video)
Want to play local MP3 in VLC and stream to my Audio ChromeCast (ACC)
Streaming to ACC works fine out of e.g. Google Chrome.
All VLC version see via Renderer when scanned the ACC, and did load its certificate.
Selecting ACC in VLC , has as effect that the ACC (which is playing via Google Chrome) is selected and waits for input from VLC
Next Puching Play in VLC , sometimes give a small yellow progressbar line in time progress bar , but nothing else , nothing is played not locally nor via the ACC
First puching play in VLC (while renderer is on local) starts playing the mp3 song locally, blue progressbar in time progress bar is progressing. Next selecting the ACC , effect that the ACC (which is playing via Google Chrome) is selected but nothing is playing .
Question : Is there support for the Audio ChromeCast , so for playing MP3files without video?
And if there is , do I something wrong , or is there indeed still a problem there?

Restart Chromecast - VLC seems not top be able to fetch Chromecast connected to a device.
Using the renderer in VLC ,it suddenly looses connection and plays local, but can connect to a group of chromecasts

vlc music.mp3 --sout="#chromecast{ip=1.1.1.1}" seems to work stable (care for path=c:\vlchome and Chromecast IP) sometimes it pauses- maybe because chromecast has wifi-trouble ?!?pressing skip title it continues...

works with .m3u (just creating a .bat file works fine)

Does anyone know how to connect to a group of chromecasts ???
