rm files with vlc?

rm files with vlc?

hi evrybdy!

does vlc media player include a codec which enables me to play the rm or ram files?
can I hope this fonction will be integrated in the future?

Hello,

It does not at the moment, and for the moment, we do not really plan on adding this feature, as rm (real media) is a proprietary format for which no open source decoder exists at the moment
