Help with audio

Postby Carolyn » 08 Sep 2017 01:11

Please help. I have recorded my mothers voice mails and have them on the computer and on a CD. I am attempting to play them but since windows 10 was installed, it doesn't work. It worked when I loaded them the first time. My mother has passed away and I am hoping to be able to hear the voice mails again. The message when I try to play is: Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///E:/'. Check the log for details.
Your input can't be opened.

I can't find where to check a log. Can you help?

I believe that's DATA CD with audio files.
You need to open CD first as a media, then access files.
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !
