Right click menu (play with vlc...) on windows

Postby Simpleman » 13 Dec 2005 15:42

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question (I hope). Is there a way to remove the right click option to open with VLC from windows? every item now, regardless of what it is, has that enabled, and i cant say i am very happy with it.

I love the player, dont get me wrong, but i rather not have that feature...I've searched all over and gone through the settings on the placer and ihave not found a way to remove this.

Thanks in advance.

search in the registry for those entries, and delete them

Hi Simpleman

Here you get a solution to remove the contextmenu entry of the recycle bin.

err ... it's kind of more complicated. The easy solution would be to uninstall and rerun the installer with the appropriate options enabled/disabled
