Hotkey Freeze Up

When i go to -Settings/Preference and try to go to the hotkey section, VLC freezes up, no errors and i have to force close it. I have already gotten the newest version, reinstalled and resetted preferences and did a quick search on the forums.

I've got the same problem exept that the freeze only lasts 2 seconds.

You can change the settings in the config-file by using an editor.

so its just like that? Its not a big deal for me but maybe someone should look into it?

I'm glad you posted this. I'm downloading 0.8.4a right now.
Note to developers . . . THIS IS A SHOW STOPPING BUG !
When your app crashes while clicking through pref widgets, YOU HAVE A STABILITY PROBLEM !
I like VLC, but can not recomend to my clients untill this critical stability bug is fixed.
