convert cda files to mp3

I have a CD in CDFS format with multiple cda files. I want to convert to mp3. I've tried to follow the Media > Convert/Save route but even though I think I have things set correctly, nothing happens. I'm missing something but I'm stumped. Can someone please direct me to specific instructions? Windows 10.

It works for me with 2.2.4 on Windows 7, just selecting the obvious options only, not messing with bitrates or stuff(as described in the following post).
