how to auto-preparse playlist items?

Postby dhaa » 06 Dec 2005 19:15

is there a way to auto-preparse files on adding them to the playlist? like in winamp...

and another thing which i think has already been mentioned around here: i would really appreciate if the current playlist was automatically saved (as default) on quitting the application and later loaded automatically when running vlc again.

nonetheless big thanx for vlc, it looks to me as the final point of my seek for an ideal all media player!

Hello,

Both of your points are not yet feasible, and are planned ... for soon.

Auto-preparse should be added in 0.8.5, I think, it's quite easy.

For playlist "remembering", I can't say, it needs more work, I don't know if I'll be working on it. Other people could do it, too :)

Thanks for your support
