VLC 2.1.5 & 2.2.4: Removing the auto update feature

Postby Synful » 08 Jul 2016 20:19

Hi!

I had VLC 2.1.5, but it automatically updated it to 2.2.4. Is there a way to stop it from automatically updating? I thought there would be a checkbox or something in one of the sections under Show Settings > All.

Thanks!
M

Hi!

Thanks for responding! :)
In the All Preferences > Interface > Main interfaces > Qt > section, I had already removed the check in the "Activate the updates availability notification" box and placed a 0 in the "Number of days between two update checks" field. What else am I missing?

Thank you so much!
