VLC DirectX crash, OpenGL missing fullscreen controls

Postby 2mg » 25 Jun 2016 09:06

VLC 2.2.4 on Win7x64 crashes if alt+tab to another application and back when output is DirectX (or automatic).

Switching to OpenGL removes crashing, but controls are missing in fullscreen, even right click doesn't pop up.

Nvidia 560 Ti + 368.22 drivers.

Help?

PS: Why does "Continue Playback" stop working if you turn off "Save Recently played items" ???

I am having the same problems and am using the same windows version. I also use Nvidia gfx but mine is GeForce GTX 1060 if that matters. I have found that if I use the fullscreen interface instead of the actual fullscreen mode (can be toggled on/off by pressing F11 while not in fullscreen mode) I get the control bar. However the control bar never goes away in that mode and I dont have the minimize/close buttons in top right corner either.
