change the snapshot loaction to the same directory as the movie it is playing

Postby sss001sss001 » 19 Jun 2016 09:32

I use VLC snapshot very often.

Would it be possible to change the snapshot loaction to the same directory as the movie it is playing.
For example:
When playing movie "xlawnmower" located in: D/mymovies/2016/moviexlawnmower
Then save all snapshots to directory: D/mymovies/2016/moviexlawnmower

Now I make the snapshots, find them and copy them to relevant video folder every time again. :?

many thanks, and keep up the good work :D

You cannot write on CDs. DVDs, Blurays, write protected SD cards, etc.

I would only need to use it for hard drives. Additionally another option would be to prompt the user for a location if it cannot write to the directory that is selected.

Internet contents don't have directories.

Correct. I am not sure what your point is.
