Video tearing with v2.2.3

Postby Mister Floppy » 06 May 2016 01:43

Hello,

I'm using VLC media player from the command line with the following options:
--fullscreen --overlay --video-on-top --vout directx --no-video-title-show --short-jump-size=20 --long-jump-size=160 --aout directx --volume=256

This worked fine in the past, until I installed v2.2.3 - with this version, there's a noticable video tearing! I'm using the exact settings as before v.2.2.3, and when I'm reinstalling any previous version again, this problem disappears immediately!
So there must be a bug that was introduced with v.2.2.3, and I would be very happy if you could fix this annoying behaviour, please.

Thank you in advance!

Greetings,

Mister Floppy

Just wanted to add that the problem occurs on both of my computers, and disabling hardware acceleration has no effect on it :-(

Hi

One post to mention I meet the same problem
Tearing with 2.2.3 (fullscreen 1080/24p on my secondary monitor), no tearing with 2.2.2 and 2.2.1
I've played a bit with video setting, but did not find any parameter modification that could fix it
