I tried to download a video file but then realized too late that it was a fake file that was actually a virus! It infected my system but I got rid of it by using Malware Bytes.
The problem now is that it disabled my VLC player's ability to play audio so I can't hear anything whenever I play any video files!
What do I do now?

I already tried hitting the button and even manually resetting preferences and cache but neither solution worked!
