Re: Audio remap filter not working

Bump. To be specific, I've double-checked that everything is as it should be; the audio channel remap filter simply isn't working. No one has opened a bug tracker ticket for it. I've only tested this in Windows 8.1 x64.
  • To reproduce this (assuming you want to map the left, right, and center channels to all be left):
    • In the preferences go to Audio -> Filters and enter "remap" in the input field.
    • Go to Audio -> Filters -> Remap and set the first three dropdowns to the following: Left=Left, Center=Left, and Right=Left.
    • Restart VLC.
  • Expected result: only the left input channel should be audible in the output left, center, and right channels.
  • Actual result: the original left/center/right input channels are still audible, and the audio is mono.
