Seeking is distorted if GPU Acceleration is enabled?

Postby kimiraikkonen » 18 Jul 2015 14:45

Hi guys,
Using old GTX460M with R310 Nvidia drivers along with VLC. Just noticed, if GPU HW Acceleration is enabled, and if you do some seeking on the videos such as MP4 (AVC/Youtube) files, the video continues to play beginning from the new seeking position with distorted/pixelated display just for a few seconds. And it returns back to smooth/normal playback after a few seconds. That irritating behaviour doesn't happen if GPU Acceleration is disabled in VLC settings. And as far as i know, GPU-acceleration is enabled by default in WMP 12, which has no such-seeking problem with the same videos.

Is there any solution or is it still experimental for GPU-accelerated videos?

Thanks in advance.
