VLC "forces itself on top"

Postby Tiwas » 09 Jul 2015 10:29

Hi guys,

I've tried searching for a solution for this problem I've had for ages - but as I don't even know how to properly describe it in a short sentence searching hasn't turned up anything useful.

My problem, which I hope there's an easy fix to, is that some times VLC refuses to have other windows on top of itself (even though VLC is not set to be on top). This can be email clients or even the now built in function to search for subtitles. They work fine as long as the mouse pointer is over the other window but as soon as it leaves and touches the VLC interface it will push everything back and regain focus/front.

Anyone know how to fix this? It's happening on several computers running Windows 7, 8 and even 10.

Cheers,

Lars

Sorry, it's a known bug.

Ok, thanks - at least I know it's not me and my configs and that something's being done about it. :)
