VLC won't play H.264 video

no video play back whatsoeverm my system spec? powerful enought dual Xeon, 2Gb ram, 6800Ulta so on

Which VLC version do you use? Did you try a nightly build?

my i try offcial 0.81 and 0.82, i still prefer 0.81, but alot of new mkv file won't work with 0.81..
