Video is pixelated and seems to skip frames

Postby MidnightEye136 » 25 Jun 2015 16:05

I recently downloaded VLC in the hopes of playing a few side by side 3D videos that I have. I can play them on Media Player and the quality is fine but when I try to play it on VLC it is pixelated to the point you can barely tell what you are supposed to be seeing.

The video itself is a MP4 file that is 1.13 GB. The frame rate is 29 frames/second and the video width:height is 1920:1080.

I'm very new to this so I don't know if there is anything else that would be needed for someone to figure this out. I've looked over the forums and different sites but I haven't been able to find anything or combination of things that works. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me with this.
