j'ai installé vlc version 2.2.1
je lance mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u pour la video
et j'obtiens comme reponse le message suivant:

"Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u'. Check the log for details."

comment changer cela ?

I have same error though my input is different local url in my network. Here is a piece in my log:

Code: Select all

main warning: connection timed out access_http error: cannot connect to 127.0.0.1:8118 access_mms debug: Using http proxy 127.0.0.1:8118 main debug: net: connecting to 127.0.0.1 port 8118 main warning: connection timed out access_mms error: cannot connect to 127.0.0.1:8118 main debug: no access modules matched main error: open of `http://192.168.0.99:3000/TS/channels.m3u' failed
I am accessing same URL in three different computers on my network and all should have more or less same firewall configuration. Two of them work immediately and this one keeps on failing with these error messages. It is quite obvious that firewall or something else is blocking access here. The weird part is that even if I totally disable my Windows 7 firewall it keeps failing like this. So I am more or less out of ideas - what is different in one computer that it does not work while in two others in same network it works. Could be that there is some silly typo that I am blind of or then even disabling totally windows firewall leaves something blocked. I believe I have no other firewalls than the windows 7 internal one.

Indeed in not working computer I have a setting 127.0.0.1:8118 for HTTP Proxy setting in VLC preferences while working ones have nothing there. I bet this is solved but I can not test it until late night when I am back at home network with this computer.

This is a post that I used to find this setting
https://fixbug88.wordpress.com/2014/10/ ... xy-in-vlc/

What might have caused this - I am pretty sure that I have not put it there. SO has some VPN tool or something like that put it there while installing?

Thanks for quick and good answer

Timo

Problem solved - dropping out 127.0.0.1:8118 for HTTP Proxy setting in Preferences started my MRL work again. Now the only question remains how that setting ever ended there as I am pretty sure that I have not done it by myself. Life is full of mysteries,

Thanks, timo
