Playing without displying the name of the video file

Postby pablopiccox » 05 Apr 2015 02:21

Hi there guys at VideoLAN!

My name is Pablo and I am from Argentina.
The thing is that I am using VLC for an art installation and really want to know (if it is possible) to play videos on VLC WITHOUT the name (when you put a video file on VLC and you play it :: it will display the name of the file, just like ¨video1.avi¨)

Is there a way I can fix it?

Thanks!

Yup, it's under Subtitles / OSD, just uncheck "Show media title on video start".

That should do it.
