vlc and TrueHD Audio (trhd)

hie,
i'm having some issue with vlc since a long time.

when i play a file with the audio in trueHD i get pitch change, some variation that happen on the track for the music, the voice dont change, only the music, you can imagine how it suck for movie.

i tried with many files and was able to make them work in vlc 2.0.8 but not anymore when i tried a new file. so i download the new 2.1.5, but still can't work.

does anyone have the same probleme ?

my system is made for 7.1
i use a asus xonar phoebus soundcard that can output 7.1
and my headset is a tiamat 7.1 too has well.

the 2.1.5 didn't propose any update i had to download manualy but your right it fix the issue finaly

+ the 2.1.5 was having a mute in any audio file at 0:09 second ( dont know why)

Want to jump in here - have searched the forums for hours - havent found anyone whose successfully solved the peoblem of playing MKVs or M2TS files with TrueHD or Atmos audio...there must be a way for VLC to play these right?
