Hello,
I've been using VLC (currently 2.0.8 Twoflower) for recieving DVB-T happily for a long time. I have the channel specifications saved as a channels.conf file; I just feed it to VLC, it get opened as a playlist of channels, everything works fine.
Now I've stumbled upon a x265 file which Twoflower cannot decode and decided it might be time for update. But I found out that VLC 2.2.0 cannot open my channels.conf! It makes to sense to me to remove support of the format. When I feed the new VLC data of a particular channel, it plays OK. Yes, I could try to rewrite my channels.conf to a xspf or something, but it would be painful since there are a lot of parameters for DVB-T (and VLC's handling of it is picky, too).
So, am I missing something or did channels.conf really get un-supported?
