Search reveals no results

VLC 2.2 64-bit (tried 32-bit)
Attempting to re-encode:

So Adobe Premiere Pro CC will recognize the file.

I am receiving the same error about the muxer is missing. I have both 32bit and 64bit versions installed and they are both doing it.

It seems it's a bug of the windows build.

Running 2.2.0-0-g1349ef2 in (Arch)linux and I'm seeing the same issue...
GUI reports as most of the muxers (except TS) missing.

I have seen the bug on Linux too. This should be fixed in vlc 3.0 prereleases now.

I tried the 3.0 prerelease (a nightly build, so maybe buggy) but no improvement. Can anyone confirm that it/isn't fixed?

2.2.1 fixed this issue for me. I no longer see "This muxer is missing". The 3.0 nightly from 2015/5/3 did not fix it.

I'm on Windows 8.1 64-bit. I tried the 32 and 64 bit versions of 2.2.1 and both fixed the issue. I only tried the 32 bit version of 3.0.

That's weird. The fix should also be in 3.0
