There are various instructions on how to fix an AVI video but none I could find fits the current version of VLC.
If the Index is bad, it asks if you want it to fix it but that is time consuming as it apparently does not save it. The VLC process is slow to do it ever time.
Is there a way to save it for next time?
VLC fixes the Index but how to make permanent?
