Sound while speed increasing

Postby AlexP750 » 15 Nov 2014 08:54

Hi!
I had downloaded VLC for the Android device and found one cool feature - the ability to gradually increase speed playing mp4 file. Than I downloaded the latest version of VLC for the PC, installed it and opened the same file and increased speed. The sound is different from the Android device in the same case.
When I increase speed on the Android, the voices becomes in higher tone, like in cartoons. But cause the very granular steps of speed increasing, I can choose the optimum speed, when the speech is understandable and the video playing is faster.
But when I do the same on the PC, the tone of the voices is still the same and not understandable. How to resolve it?
Thanks.

Disable audio time stretching in the preferences.
