MP$ file not playing, title flickering

Hi all.

I just upgraded to the latest version of VLC today (2.1.5) and am having trouble playing some MP4 files on a Windows 7 machine. Some MP4 files work fine, but some do not play at all - no audio, no video, and the player seems to go into a loop then freezes. While looping the title bar at the top of the VLC player flickers from VLC Player to the file title and back repeatedly.

I've turned on the debug messaging, and the output is below. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

It seems to repeat after this.

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of a problematic file to either http://streams.videolan.org/upload/ or to Zippyshare.com (200 MB max) or to EmbedUpload.com, the latter will upload the file for you to several other hosts (use the default ones) and then post the link to the file here.
