Vlc play jerky video (mp4 with 120 fps in playback mode)

Postby vlc_fun » 27 Aug 2014 13:01

Hi everybody i'm italian and i apologize for my English.
I have record some videos with my sony HDR-AS100V in HS 120 fps video mode (25 Mbps). This videos have 120 fps in rec mode and also are playback in 120 fps (not rec in 120 or 240 fps and playback in 30 fps as usual..). This video playback in 120 fps result jerky/snap, but if i play video that are rec in 60 fps and have playback in 60 fps this doesn't happen and the playback are fluid and regular.
So i try to playback the video in 120 fps with the sony media player built in into the "PlayMemories Home" (the free sony software to play and edit movie) and in this case the video playback is fluid and regular.
So i think it's not an hardware problem but a setting of the vlc player that i have to set up to adjust the playback of this kind of video in 120 or more fps.

Anybody has notice the same jerky playback problem with video in 120 or more fps?
