For a while now I have wanted to download the 64-bit version of VLC Media Player however I saw somewhere that it was still in its beta stage. Has the 64-bit version of VLC become a stable release?

v2.1.4 x64 is reasonably stable... v2.1.5 x64 is a crash fest tho...
