Windows 7 64bit thumbnail previews for .webm, and .flv?

Postby Double44 » 24 Jul 2014 01:48

Hi, I've been researching on how to get WEBM and FLV formats to present a preview inside Windows 7 64bit. I'm using VLC as my main video player, some of the file associations (webm/flv) only present a cone as a preview. I want to fix this.

In order to view these previews on a 64bit system, i apparently need some 64bit codecs. The reviews I've read about some of these sites claim there is malware embedded in the software. Is there a clean way to go about doing this?
