TIFF-Snapshots corrupted

Hi,

With me are TIFF-snapshots under Vista and Windows defective. The TIFF-Files are too small and all photo editing programs report that the files are corrupted.

This is so with version 2.1.0 and 2.1.2.

Yes, confirmed, I can reproduce the issue.
You should create a new ticket on the VLC Trac with the link to this thread.

Meanwhile you can use PNG as a lossless alternative.

@kodela: Now running vlc, 64-Bit, Ver 2.1.3, and tiff files cannot be opened by Photoshop, Windows 8 Photo Viewer, and Paint. JPEG and PNG work great!

I know and have assigned it a bug report written (4 months ago - ticket # 10409).
The developers have this bug report closed !!!!
The problem is not with the various photo editors, but the VLC with certainty. The generated TIFF files are corrupted.

Hi. I am here, because I noticed the same bug. Any program report for TIFF corrupt. How could they close and fix the problem if it is still staying? Or maybe it was return back again?

Why not you write a new ticket?

Writing tickets for bugs of the VLC is unnecessary work. Nobody really interested.
This is a shame, but that's the truth.

Yay! The TIF files are readable in Photoshop for VLC, ver 2.2.1, Win 64-Bit!!!
