BD-J menus under 2.2.0 nightly build

Postby SantaFox » 12 Jan 2014 10:11

Dear Sirs,

first of all, I'd like to say a big thanks (with donations, of course) for your very player. I own an AnyDVDHD so I have no problem with playing my Blu-Ray disc. However, the only thing I am currently missing is a BD-J menus support.

I have heard that 2.2.0 nightly builds uses libbluray 0.5.0 that should have a significally better BD-J support. Unfortunately no one of my disc has started to show these menus. Am I doing something wrong? I have downloaded latest x64 build for my x64 Win7 system, Sun Java is installed...

Thanks for your work again,
BR,
Dmitry

No, it's not yet activated, because we need to ship libbluray.jar.

Thank you very much for the reply.

Do you plan to implement this feature? Or may be people who wants to use this feature should download this file by themselves?

Thanks,
Dmitry

Thank you very much one more time, Jean-Baptiste.

Please provide a short instruction when you would have a little time for it.

BR,
Dmitry

By this, do you mean that you are waiting for it to be sent out to the other devs and what not, or what? Or is this going to be a separate install all together? or what?

Sorry, I thought it is enough to add some files (like .jars) to be installed into directory with last night build?

Wait, ok, so we are still in the wait here. Do we need to download the file ourselves out of that project's area on the video lan site? or what?

Seems the file on their ftp is a library (go figure), so anyone compiled this beast? If so any links to the download?
