Time Relativity Ignored

Postby PhredE » 18 Feb 2014 18:44

I listen to a lot of podcasts in a docked playlist configuration, and I find that normal speech is far too slow and time wasting - so I speed up play-back.
I run with Advanced Controls showing and I customise the control GUI area with
• Speed indication & change
• Elapsed time
• Time remaining
• Total time
e.g. 05.10 -03:20/08:30
Of course, as soon as I change the play-back speed, the time numbers become invalid, almost meaningless. If I were to double the speed, the numbers would halve.
Fractional change would fractionally change them.
Any chance that we could have time indicators that reflect time relative to speed?

(..and settings that stay latched from execution to execution?)
