I'd like to read my files directly from my external hard drive, is there any way to do it please ?
Because I'd like to make place on my HDD and to put all my musics and movies on my EHD, so if there's any way to do it, I'd like to know !

I'd like to read my files directly from my external hard drive, is there any way to do it please ?

Is there anybody who has a solution to my problem please ?

It should just work. Can you see your external drive in Windows? If you can then you should be able to open the files on it in VLC.
Media, Open File, select the drive, select the file.
