VideoLAN 2.1.2 64 Bit cannot play DVDs

Postby AspieMum » 29 Dec 2013 14:01

I made the mistake of updating VideoLAN this morning when VideoLAN said there was an update. The DVD I was going to watch had started to play when the message came up so things were working fine before update. I updated VideoLAN and staright away whenever I tried to play the DVD it came up with an error message saying it couldn't access it. I tried uninstalling & doing a clean instal instead of update but this did not solve the problem. I have unistalled it & re-installed the older VideoLAN and things are working fine again. There must be something to do with VideoLAN 2.1.2 that doesn't work properly.

Try 2.1.2 32bits or wait for 2.1.3 to be out...
