Add Tracks to Existing Playlist

Postby DocTom » 20 Nov 2013 08:45

I am new to VLC Media Player. I have version 2.1.0, running in Windows 7.
I created a music playlist, and saved to My Music in Windows.

Now I want to add tracks to that playlist, but I cannot work out how to do it. Drag and drop does not work.
Incidentally, when I toggle to playlist, my existing playlist shows, but there are no commands at the top of the window (eg., no Manage command, to which I have seen reference in some of the documentation.)

I have read the documentation, and searched the forum, but cannot find a solution, so I will be grateful for any guidance. (No doubt it will be something simple that in my dotage I have missed! Please show forbearance.)

DocTom.

Drag and drop to the playlist and then save the play list!
