Convert/Save only saves "Containments"

Postby realself » 03 Dec 2013 11:14

I'm using Windows 7, and VLC 2.1.1, and every time I try to rip audio from Youtube videos, my only option to save is as a Containment.
I used to do fine until a few weeks ago, perhaps it was an upgrade but I tried downgrading to 2.0 and it still doesn't work. Do I have to go back further?

For the record, I choose .WAV encapsulation and MP3 Audio codec, and put .mp3 at the end of my save title. Am I doing something wrong or overlooking something? Thanks for any help in advance, I'm flustered.
