ive somehow changed my video playback settings somewhere and now when i try to play any video whether it be dvd streaming or from hard drive a hundred windows try to play video ive already uninstalled and reinstalled any ideas

Uninstall VLC and deletes settings and cache.
Install VLC new, also delete settings and cache.
