What is your OS version ? What is your CPU ? What is your GPU ?As per other users, I am seeking a solution to the VLC 2.1.0 program continually crashing.
Suddenly with the update to VLC 2.1.0 it won't work.
I am a Windows XP user.
I can enable HW Acceleration in XP64 and it worked fine in 2.0.x, I switched to 64bit VLC and nothing changed from 32bit, 32bit VLC kept crashing if played vids after awakening comp from sleep. Can't be because hardware acceleration is not enabled on XP, it requires Vista or newer. Its related to HW acceleration as stated here https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=114095.

If you're using a 64-bit build of VLC then try with the 32-bit build.
