2.1.0 problem to stop or forewind a H264 vid

Hi, with vlc 2.0.8 all worked fine.
When playing a H264 coded video, I can play it. But when I interrupt or try to move to another time, then vlc throws our the video.
Meaning I can only watch the video from the beginning to the end.
I use mostly h264 in the container wtv; I think others did show the problem as well, but haved already downgraded to 2.0.8 again.
No issue with mpg.
Thanks for any support or progress on this issue - I did not find it registered, already.
