How to Rip a DTS "5.1 Music Disc" to WAV and keep surround

Postby tjock » 05 Oct 2013 14:40

How do you Rip/convert a DTS "5.1 Music Disc" to WAV (or FLAC) and keep the surround sound?
I tried via Convert/Save > DVD (and tried Audio CD)
Profile > Audio CD > WAV > 4 (and tried 6) channels

No luck. My DVD player plays other Surround WAV and FLAC files fine.

Help?

Thanks

Did you check the file in other players?

I didn't but will try.
Are you aware of the correct settings to use in VLC to successfully rip to a surround/multi-channel WAV or FLAC?

Thank you

I managed to convert the audio to a WAV file, but the sound is in slow motion. Happened on 2 different rips. Where is the setting to ensure the proper speed?

Thanks
